Missouri recently passed a law requiring all children to have a comprehensive eye exam with an optometrist or ophthalmologist before starting kindergarten. Kansas parents should be aware of the importance of early detection and prevention of eye disease as well.

Dr. Steve Cauble

Dr. Steve Cauble provides comprehensive family eye care and specializes in management of difficult to fit contact lenses, pediatrics, ocular diseases, and low vision . He also provides routine contact lens fittings, and checking for eyeglasses

Dr. Steve Cauble has over 30 years of experience providing eye care. He has moved from Liberal, Kansas to join our eye clinic and to be closer to his family in the
Kansas City area.

Dr. Cauble received his undergraduate degree from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. He is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Cauble has been a leader in the Kansas Optometric Association and the American
Optometric Association. He served as president of the Kansas Optometric Association and helped develop the See to Learn program.

Dr. Cauble is excited about the opportunity to serve our community as an eye doctor. He enjoys serving and helping others. His caring spirit has led him to share his expertise overseas by participating in medical missions to Central America, South America, Africa, and Puerto Rico.
